WORLD EMERGENCY RELIEF- BE A GOOD EGG


 

docdata successfully raised £300 for World Emergency Relief by holding an Easter Eggstravaganza, in conjunction with ‘Be A Good Egg’ Campaign. This campaign raises funds to buy laying hens for poor families in Africa to offer them a much need source of nutrition. The docdata response payments team keenly wanted to help with this and get involved. So, throughout the week leading up to Easter we had eggciting quizzes, raffles, egg decorating and baking of cakes. Alex Haxton, Director of Operations at World Emergency Relief was kind enough to lend us a chicken costume in which our Client Development Manager, Luke Sandy here at docdata dressed up proudly for the occasion! (As pictured above with responses account management and IT teams.)

The monies docdata raised means that World Emergency Relief can buy 50 laying hens for African families.



SAVE THE CHILDREN - LADIES DAY


 

On Friday, 1st May our docdata boys had a wail of a time dressing up as ladies for the day to raise money for Save The Children.  In total the woMEN raised a brilliant £275 by getting their make-up on and working in their dresses for the whole day. Mo Semlali from docdata's IT team (dressed in yellow and black) won the prettiest girl prize with Jonathan Horn, Account Manager, coming in a close second dressed as Marilyn Monroe (in his sexy little black dress).  Save The Children were that impressed that they gave the boys 'fundraisers of the month' and included them in their monthly Newsletter. 


WOMEN’S ROYAL VOLUNTRY SERVICE - MAD HATTERS TEA PARTY


 

docdata recently joined in with the WRVS Tea Party - a nationwide fundraising initiative.

The WRVS tea party is part of the year round fundraising that WRVS do to help continue their fantastic work to provide older people in our communities with support to live well, maintain their independence and play a part in the local community.

docdata managed to raise £270 by holding a “Mad Hatters” tea party where everyone was encouraged to bring in and wear their best “Mad Hats”! The whole team was really keen to get involved and everyone had a great time joining in with the bake sale and laughing at some of the head gear that was sported by the account management and IT departments.

Halloween Fundraiser for the Churchill Hospital



docdata are proud to have raised £403 for CLIC Sargent


 

 

docdata are proud to have raised £403 for CLIC Sargent Children’s Cancer Charity by dressing up and collecting donations at the Oxford Tesco store. CLIC Sargent raise funds to help terminally ill children with cancer and the £403 raised will go towards funding respite care and the Christmas fund for hospice children. Staff volunteers dressed up as bright pink Christmas presents to get shoppers in the Christmas spirit!
